Jimmy Aspinall - CPA/CFO
As a Certified Public Accountant for over 17 years, Jimmy has an extensive background of professional financial management experience. After graduating from the University of Vermont with a BS in Business Administration, Jimmy spent four years with former Big Eight member Coopers & Lybrand, two years in one of C&L’s largest offices (Boston) and two years in one of their smaller offices on the island of St. Maarten. Since his departure from public accounting, Jimmy has served as CFO and Controller for companies ranging from start-ups to larger privately owned entities.
In his most recent venture prior to co-founding the Waveson Group, Jimmy utilized his background to help grow a start-up pharmaceutical distributor. The company assisted US based hospitals by providing the in-patient pharmacies with medications required for surgical procedures and treatments that the hospitals could not procure through their contracted providers. This endeavor in the “hard to find” market will help lay the foundation for the Waveson Group to succeed in the procurement of products to improve the quality of life for disaster area victims.
Jimmy’s role as the President/CEO/CFO of a US based sales and marketing arm of an internationally based sourcing company built up his network of connections allowing the Waveson Group access to a more diverse product line and favorable pricing. While in charge of this entity, Jimmy also secured exclusive distribution agreements with patent and trademark holders.
Jimmy has a history of building strong and lasting business relationships with financial institutions, vendors, customers and even competitors. jimmy@wavesongroup.comDrew Farmer - VP New Product Research & Procurement
